Project KARE’s wish list for school supplies for Karen students

With the arrival of Thanksgiving, and the giving season, our Project KARE team is gearing up for our next annual KARE trip! We’re returning to the Thai/Burma border to deliver much needed school supplies to Mae Ra Moe refugee camp and rural village schools in Karen State in Burma. With your continued support, we will deliver supplies to thousands of Karen students in schools where even the most basic resources for education are out of reach for many students.

In the 2nd week of January we’ll travel to Chiang Mai Thailand where we’ll shop for pens, pencils, notebooks, printers, ink, whiteboards, markers, chalk, erasers, copy paper and so much more! School principals are finalizing their lists of most critical shortages and your gift will respond directly to their most urgent needs in real-time.
We all want our annual gifts to have the most impact possible. Project KARE continues to be an all volunteer non-profit org and 100% of your donation goes directly to the purchase of school supplies. That’s right … 100%!

If you’re able to lend a hand … know that every gift makes a BIG difference in the education of Karen people. You can make your donation directly to Su Baw, Michaely Rosas or Ron Levis or you can donate on-line via our fundraising page. Thank you so much for considering helping enthusiastic Karen students to have a better future!
